Filipinos Who Tell the Truth

update_filipino_truth1Noting the pervasive feeling of powerlessness over massive corruption and dishonesty in government and other sectors, MCW has initiated an educational project called, “Filipinos Who Tell the Truth”. It enables participants to reflect on their own behavior and encourages them to honor models of honesty and truth in their midst. The project uses visual arts teaching to promote these values to public and private elementary school teachers and their pupils (grades four to six.) At the end of each session, an exhibit of the pupils’ works is mounted. Exhibits have taken place in Iligan, Davao, Cotabato and Tagum. A Mindanao-wide exhibit is planned. » Read more about the campaign.
