Ehem! Aha! Youth Training Program
Sangguniang Kabataan representatives, law school students and student leaders from Davao City and Davao del Sur attended the Ehem! Aha! Youth Training Program last December 3-4, 2009 at Lispher Inn, Davao City. The activity aims to make the youth more seriously sensitive and bothered about corruption and more deeply involved in combating it at the individual, group and institutional levels.

Asia Pacific NGO Forum on Beijing + 15
The Asia Pacific NGO Forum on Beijing + 15, a gathering of women working in NGOs all over Asia, was held on October 22-24, 2009 in Quezon City, Philippines. Entitled "Weaving Wisdom, Confronting Crises, Forging the Future," the Forum was organized by the Asia Pacific Women's Watch (APWW). The forum discussed gender issues in climate change and disaster, and human security and conflict and post-conflict.
National Women's Summit
Women from all over the country gathered to discuss "Women's Self Reliant Leadership and Collective Empowerment in Times of Crises" at the National Women's Summit held on October 20-21, 2009 at Miriam College, Quezon City. The summit preceded the Asia-Pacific NGO Forum on Beijing + 15.
